Ojai Valley Inn: Review

I’ve lived in Los Angeles for my whole life and until last year I’d never stepped foot in Ojai, the charming city only 2+ hours away from me. After my second trip there I just have to yell from the rooftops about how amazing it is! Our most recent stay was at the Ojai Valley Inn and it did not disappoint.

Location

Unlike other locations, Ojai is a tiny town which means everything is very central. You’ll most definitely pass by Ojai Valley Inn during any trip to Ojai. The draw of Ojai Valley Inn is the expansive property itself that really has everything you could possibly need for a weekend away. To be honest, I had all intentions of taking Andy to some other spots in Ojai during our trip but after 3 days we realized we NEVER left Ojai Valley Inn. With 3 pools, 6 eateries, a golf course, spa, bike rentals + picnic options, and incredible rooms you really don’t have to leave which makes for an extra relaxing visit to Ojai.

Design

Spanish bungalow and desert resort goodness! The clientele is definitely a bit older given their nightly rates but if you’re looking to really veg out in a beautiful setting, Ojai Valley Inn is your spot. It’s also very romantic and a great place to reconnect with your S.O.

Our Room

We stayed in a Fire Place Mini Suite that opened out onto the golf course. We were in heaven to say the least. I’m pretty sure you can’t go wrong with any room in the place. We had great customer service and room service the entire time we were there.

How to Book

We love using Hotels Combined, which is part of Kayak. You can find great rates on hotels everywhere, and it compares across a bunch of sites so you don’t have to.

Another great way to experience Ojai is through VRBO, where you can find a fantastic home to rent and experience all the great restaurants in the area.
